Carlos Passi Director Business Transformation (CHQ) Carlos Passi is Director, Business Transformation at corporate headquarters in Armonk, NY reporting to the Corporate Controller. He is responsible for the design and implementation of IBMs Financial Systems Strategy, supporting process integration and productivity in the worldwide Finance organization. Mr. Passi is also responsible for Financial Planning for the corporate staff functions including Research, Legal, Communications, Marketing and others. Formerly, Mr. Passi was Director of Financial Planning for Europe Middle East and Africa (EMEA) in Paris, France, where he was responsible for the consolidation of EMEAs financial measurement plans and results, as well as the geography Financial Systems. Prior to this, Mr. Passi held the positions of Corporate Budget Coordinator, Program Manager for the Internet Division, CFO for the Power Parallel Division and various other managerial, planning, pricing and technical positions in Somers, Poughkeepsie, Fishkill and Boulder. Mr. Passi joined IBM in 1984 as a Senior Advanced Manufacturing Engineer in Boulder, Colorado. Mr. Passi holds an MBA and a Masters degree in Industrial Engineering from the University of Colorado, as well as a Masters degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Chile. He resides in La Grange, New York with his wife Connie and daughter Lorena.
