Michael Faillace Michael Faillace worked for seventeen years as inhouse Employment Counsel with International Business Machines Corporation (IBM). In that capacity he advised IBMs field inhouse counsel and personnel departments on employment lawrelated matters, including the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA), the Family and Medical Leave Act (FMLA), the Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA), federal and state privacy laws and Title VII of the Civil Rights Act of 1964. Michael is a national speaker and writer on a variety of employment law issues. His publications include Automatic Exemption of HighlyPaid Employees and Other Proposed Amendments to the White Collar Exemptions: Bringing the Fair Labor Standards Act Into the TwentyFirst Century (The Labor Lawyer, 2000) and a comprehensive annual outline covering the case law developments under the FLSA, published by Practicing Law Institute (PLI). Michael has been an Adjunct Professor of employment discrimination law at Fordham University School of Law since 1992.
