For instance, the 2004 regulations require group health plans to revise their COBRA policies, procedures, and forms, and they create several new obligations for plans (January 1, 2005 was the compliance deadline for calendaryear plans). We focus about half of this webcast on the new requirements imposed by the 2004 regulations. In the other half, we review common COBRA mistakes and the best practices and procedures to avoid them.
